Organized by Adoptee Solidarity Korea in partnership with the Haja Creative Hub
Minimum donation of 10,000 won requested, free for ASK members (yearly membership is 20,000 won).

This event is open to all.

Come and have a chill, fun, creative and meaningful day where you can choose from a selection of inter-active workshops and insightful talks.

ASK Skill Sharing Day — the annual fundraiser for Adoptee Solidarity Korea, this year with a new spin. The event is a skills-sharing workshop that aims to showcase the resources, knowledge and skills the Korean adoptee community can offer in various fields.

Each workshop will be facilitated by an adoptee, and run from 30 minutes to 1 1/2 hours.

This venue for this event is the Haja Creative Hub, part of the “Seoul Youth Factory for Alternative Culture” located in Seoul’s Yeongdeungpo.

*Each participant will be entered into a raffle with a grand prize of the new Google Nexus 7 tablet PC
*Prizes also include restaurant certificates, and additional raffle tickets will also be for sale
*A Free the Girls campaign donation box will be set up to collect bras to be resold by women rescued from sex trafficking

Directions to the Haja Creative Hub: From Yeongdeungpo Market Station Lines 2&5 (영등포구청역) take exit 4 walk straight for 110 meters and turn right at the big street, then go straight for 650 meters. See this link for maps and more in-depth directions.

Donate to ASK

ASK’s annual fundraiser supports yearly operating costs such as fees for forum speakers and venues, translation and interpretation and website upkeep. All ASK members work on a volunteer basis.
